Job Description Colorado Rehabilitation & Occupational Medicine (CROM) is hiring a Full Time Neuropsychologist to join our innovative team. CROM is the largest & oldest Physiatry practice in Colorado. Our Neuropsychologist position is based in Denver Metro. Purpose
Improve psychological functioning of patients and their families via psycho-diagnostic and psychotherapeutic services. Develops treatment protocols and designs, executes outcomes studies regarding treatment effectiveness.
Major Responsibilities
· Interview patients to obtain comprehensive medical histories.
· Conduct neuropsychological evaluations such as assessments of intelligence, academic ability, attention, concentration, sensory-motor function, language, learning, and memory.
· Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, or other counseling interventions to patients with neurological disorders.
· Design or implement rehabilitation plans for patients with cognitive dysfunction.
· Write or prepare detailed clinical neuropsychological reports using data from psychological or neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct observations, or interviews.
· Provide education or counseling to individuals and families.
· Participate in educational programs, in-service training, or workshops to remain current in methods and techniques.
· Read current literature, talk with colleagues, and participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in neuropsychology.
· Diagnose and treat neural and psychological conditions in medical and surgical populations such as patients with chronic pain with a neurological basis.
· Compare patients' progress before and after pharmacologic, surgical, or behavioral interventions.
· Make appropriate referrals to services within CROM or outside if needed.
· Communication of neuropsychological evaluation results to patients, family/caregivers, internal customers, and inter-agency customers.
· Supervision of one psychometrician.
· Actively participates in peer review activities. Provide consultation with other professionals.

Requirements
Doctorate Degree in Psychology
Licensed as a Psychologist with the State of Colorado
