Primary Responsibilities:
The rehabilitation neuropsychologist provides psychological and neuropsychological/cognitive evaluations to residents who have brain injuries. This includes interviewing persons served and family members, administering tests, scoring tests, writing reports, and reviewing results with staff, family members and stakeholders in the care. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist provides psychotherapy including providing behavioral management. They lead the development of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral intervention treatment plans. actively participating in the Brain Injury Services care team, including leading behavior rounds, providing guidance to the clinical team on cognitive, behavioral, and emotional issues. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist maintains psychological and neuropsychological test supplies. They also provide charge documentation to the billing department and to facilitate billing and collections of psychological services. This includes facilitating insurance panel enrollment including private, governmental, or other payers. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist makes chart entries and write orders regarding persons served care and functioning. They provide guidance or counseling to family members through family conferences. This position would be responsible to develop, review and update psychology policies and procedures. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist provides in-service training to staff on cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and brain injury topics. This role will review and approve the release of psychology/psychotherapy notes and psychometric information. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist participates. as requested by the facility, in accreditation and external review processes as well as marketing.

Qualifications:
· Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program. Prefer an internship with an emphasis on rehabilitation psychology or neuropsychology. Prefer post-doctoral training with an emphasis on rehabilitation psychology or neuropsychology.
· Prefer Board Certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Neuropsychology.
· Must obtain and maintain a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (Cl31S) certification.
· Must have and maintain a license at the doctoral level from the Minnesota Board of Psychology.
