Position Postdoctoral Fellowship

Job Description The Center for Clinical Outcomes Development and Application (CODA) within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan has an opening for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship position. This is a research fellowship in which the postdoctoral fellow will work with and be mentored by Drs. Noelle Carlozzi and Anna Kratz within CODA and will be involved in our NIH-sponsored project that is designed to develop new health-related quality of life measures for use in caregivers of individuals with traumatic brain injury. The fellow will also have the opportunity to work on other projects in measurement development, as well as studies that use mobile technology and/or wrist-worn devices that provide continuous ratings of symptoms, physical activity, and autonomic nervous system activity; datasets include several different clinical populations (including individuals with fibromyalgia, Huntington disease, multiple sclerosis, nephrotic syndrome, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury). This position could begin as early as August 1, 2017. Stipend levels are set by the federal government and increase with years of postdoctoral experience. Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related discipline (e.g., cognitive neuroscience).

Required Qualifications:
PhD in psychology or related discipline (cognitive neuroscience)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Command of statistical software such as SPSS and SAS
Experience with manuscript writing, proposal writing, and development of study protocols
Able to work independently and/or as part of a collaborative team
Completed an APA approved internship (for clinical psychology applicants)
