Position Rehabilitation Psychologist/Neuropsychologist

Job Description The department of Neuropsychology and Family Services is excited to invite applicants to submit an application for a full time position with a growing rehabilitation agency. AbilityKC is a not-for-profit agency identified by CMS as a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF). AbilityKC is CARF accredited in medical and vocational rehabilitation programs and therapeutic preschool. We provide a continuum of services to pediatric, adolescent and adult populations with complex stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury/disease, and other neurological and congenital disorders. As an integrated member of an interdisciplinary team, you serve in a leadership role in participating in developing treatment plans, promoting and supporting optimal rehabilitation outcomes through programs, education and team collaboration, providing neuropsychological assessment and consultation, as well as therapeutic interventions through individual counseling, and family counseling for our program patients and their families. As well as possessing a strong background in, TBI, stroke, congenital disorders and SCI/D, we are interested in individuals with experience in assessment and interventions with children and adolescents. Department staff psychologists work with staff social workers on family education and support programs and services.

Qualifications: Applicants must have attended an APA accredited psychology program and have a Ph.D. or Psy.D., and be MO licensed or eligible for MO license in psychology, with completion of applicable postdoctoral training. The applicant should have experience in working with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
