Job Description Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a neuropsychologist or rehabilitation psychologist to be part of dynamic teams primarily focused on acquired brain injury rehabilitation.

Pate is a premiere post-acute neuro-rehabilitation facility with three sites throughout the Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex. Pate has been in business for over 30 years, offering transdisciplinary neuro-rehabilitation. It was co-founded by a neuropsychologist, and the treatment model continues to be based on neuropsychological principles. There is strong comradery and consultation opportunities with other neuropsychologists within the company.

Pate offers both day-neuro and residential services to older adolescents and adults with various neurological conditions including a strong focus on traumatic brain injury and stroke. Pate has been a CARF accredited stroke program for over two decades. Applicants with experience in brain injury rehabilitation settings are preferred. Responsibilities include clinical intervention, neuropsychological evaluations, guiding and providing consultation to multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams, patient and family education, and participating in program development.

While the position is primarily clinical, there are opportunities for research. Pate neuropsychologists have enjoyed clinical faculty status at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for over a decade, and opportunities for faculty status and clinical and/or research supervision of doctoral-level and post-doctoral students. Additionally, Pate frequently collaborates with local academic institutions to conduct clinical research studies including University of Texas Center for Brain Health, Texas Women's University, and University of Texas at Arlington.

Applicants are to be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas. Requirements include a doctorate from an accredited graduate school in psychology, and completion of at least one year of post-doctoral supervision/training. Board Certification or aspiration to become board certified in clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology is desired.
