The Department of Health Psychology in the School of Health Professions at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) seeks applicants for an Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor to join the growing Integrated Pediatric Psychology Service.

Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree from an APA-approved program in clinical, counseling, or school psychology and will have completed pre- and post-doctoral training in pediatric psychology, pediatric rehabilitation psychology, and/or pediatric neuropsychology. Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Missouri.

The faculty member will assist in development and delivery of pediatric psychology/rehabilitation psychology services for patients receiving care through University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC), particularly the Women's and Children's Hospital, Pediatric and Adolescent Specialty Clinics, and Children's Therapy Center. The position may include inpatient and outpatient services including consultation, brief assessment, comprehensive evaluation, and individual and family interventions. Patient populations include children with a variety of acute, chronic, and complex healthcare needs and their families. The position requires collaboration with a range of medical specialists and multi-disciplinary teams including frequent coordination with pediatric therapy providers including occupational, speech-language, and physical therapists. Other responsibilities may include the supervision of trainees, including pre-doctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows, and participation in research activities. Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience in one or more of the following areas: inpatient consultation, multi-disciplinary teams, school consultation, and/or evidence-based interventions with medical populations.
