Position Adult Rehabilitation Psychologist/Neuropsychologist

Job Description The Department of Health Psychology (DHP) in the School of Health professions at the University of Missouri (MU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Candidates should demonstrate a strong history of condicting research in adult neuropsychology and/or rehabilitation psychology. Successful applicants will have a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology, have completed a postdoctoral fellowship, be licensed or license-eligible in Missouri, and have demonstrated the potential for securing extramural research funding. Preference will be given to applicants eligible for board certification in neuropsychology.

This faculty member will condict research in line with the mission of the adult neuropsychology service of the Deparment of Health Psychology, which is to meet the behavioral health needs of Missourians with disabilities. This faculty member will be expected to develop an independent line of research and sexure extramural funding to support the research. Areas of research may include, but are not limited to, traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, brain tumors, and ADHD. Additionally, there may be opportunities to conduct research in rural health and military settings. This position has an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Therefore, the faculty member will develop collaborations within and outside of the MU community. Some potential areas of collaboration inclde stroke rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, and neuroimaging.
