Job Description The Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Dallas Campus Psychology Department is inviting applications for Neuropsychologists and Rehabilitation Psychologists to join our expanding continuum of care for acquired brain injury.

Since 1981, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR) has helped people overcome serious disabilities and return to full, productive lives. BIR has received repeat recognition as one of the country's top rehabilitation hospitals in U.S. News & World Report's annual "America's Best Hospitals" report, and continues to be recognized within the Top 10 list of Best Places to Work in North Texas. BIR has been designated by the National Institute for Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) as a Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS) center for the treatment and care of patients with traumatic brain injuries. We have continued to expand our reach and now have three freestanding rehabilitation hospitals and 65 outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This includes four day neurorehabilitation locations for post-acute rehabilitation of acquired brain injury (ABI).

We are currently seeking psychologists to work with the BIR Dallas inpatient traumatic brain injury program, post-acute ABI rehabilitation program, and/or provide neuropsychological evaluations to patients served through our outpatient clinic. Opportunities to participate in TBIMS research and program development are available. Additional populations served may include polytrauma, stroke, organ transplant, neuro-oncology, cardiac rehabilitation, amputation, and others. Responsibilities include emphasis on cross-disciplinary team participation, and providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological services across the continuum of care. Applicants with complementary experience in research and program development are desirable. Qualifications:
" APA/CPA accredited doctorate
" Postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology
" Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Neuropsychology
" Licensed or license eligible in the State of Texas
