Neuropsychologist needed in beautiful coastal Maine! Our growing practice
is seeking a license-eligible neuropsychologist as we expand to add a second
location in Portland, Maine. Our current office in the midcoast region of Maine
provides clinical neuropsychological evaluations for a wide variety of
presenting concerns to child, adult, and elderly outpatients, provides forensic
neuropsychological services, and is highly regarded across the state by a wide
range of referring providers for these services as well as for expert consultation
and management related to concussions. We will train the right candidate to
work in some or all of these areas. While we emphasize excellence, we also
value the extraordinary quality of life that Maine has to offer. Portland is a
beautiful city on the island-speckled waters of Casco Bay and offers a thriving
farm-to-table dining scene, excellent schools, a university, a strong arts
community, and plentiful outdoor recreation opportunities. Opportunity also
exists for practice in Rockport, Maine. Our office is a short walk to the ocean
and walking paths. The nearby Camden Hills offer excellent hiking, skiing,
snowshoeing, mountain biking, and ocean and lake kayaking and sailing.
Nearby Rockland boasts a destination arts community with the Farnsworth
Museum, Center for Contemporary Art, and high quality galleries along with a
meticulously restored art deco theater offering live entertainment as well as
movies, and restaurants with award winning chefs.
Candidates must meet education and training criteria to be able to pursue ABPP
board certification in clinical neuropsychology. The position is predominantly
clinical, with opportunity for forensic practice, supervision of trainees and
technicians, and participation in program and business development. If you are
interested in research and publishing, time and opportunity for that can be
created. Compensation is competitive and production based. Submit letter of
interest, curriculum vitae, and three references to: Kendra Bryant, Ph.D.,
