Clinical Neuropsychologist
(Pediatric/Lifespan)
WakeMed Health is taking applications for a full-time clinical neuropsychology position. Neuropsychologists at WakeMed provide a broad range of services including assessment and treatment of patients in the acute hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation programs and a Day Treatment Program. Primary patient populations include concussion and brain injury, stroke, dementia and spinal cord injury. We also have a thriving outpatient practice specializing in evaluation of neurologically involved patients with primary referral sources from PM&R, neurology, and PCP's
The work environment is relaxed and collegial with a very reasonable workload expectation. No weekends or call. We're looking for someone, who in addition to having the required training and clinical skills, has the ability to be a team player and has excellent interpersonal skills. New grads are welcome to apply. This position will be primarily pediatric focused but with greater consideration given to those who have lifespan skills.
