Fort Wayne Neuropsychology (www.fwneuropsych.com) is seeking a licensed Neuropsychologist to add to our growing team. Our practice, which currently includes five Neuropsychologists as well as multiple psychometrists and support staff, is the largest of its kind in our region and serves northeastern Indiana. We provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for pediatric and adult patients with a wide spectrum of neurological conditions. We work closely with allied professions including neurology and neurosurgery.
Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited university, with specialized training in the field of Neuropsychology. Candidates who are board certified or board eligible in the area of Neuropsychology are preferred. Candidates must be a licensed psychologist and/or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana. Experience working independently as a Neuropsychologist in a clinical setting assessing patients with a variety of neurological symptoms including stroke, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injuries, autism, dementia, Alzheimer's etc. is desired.
Must possess the following: Strong proven ability to work effectively with a team (including referring physicians) in a fast paced environment. Proven ability to perform accurate assessments and provide succinct reports within tight time constraints. Skill set should also include strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and exceptional listening skills. Must place a high value on teamwork and cooperation.
