Setting: Sweetgrass Psychological Services is a robust private practice in the Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana serving children, adolescents, couples and adults. We strive to meet the ever-growing needs of our small community through Therapeutic / Collaborative Assessment, Psychological Assessments, and psychodynamic, relational, and evidenced based therapies. Sweetgrass Psychological Services is currently the leading provider of psychological services in beautiful Northwest Montana, home to Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Position: Sweetgrass Psychological Services is hiring a full- or part-time neuropsychologist to maintain a case load primarily comprised of assessment clients. There is some room for a small portion of the clinician's case load to be ongoing therapy clients. Work duties include providing children, adolescents and adults referred by the State, courts, consulting therapists, schools, and medical professionals with assessment services. The start date will be arranged based on the successful candidate's availability.
Requirements / Qualifications: Successful candidates will be adept at completing cognitive and neuropsychological assessments and interesting in building their assessment tool kit. While Sweetgrass offers consultation and a collaborative approach to private practice, clinicians should be capable of working independently. Preference given to candidates who have experience with Therapeutic / Collaborative Assessments, or autism evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a license (in any state) or will be license eligible (supervision will be provided as necessary and consultation offered routinely).
There are ample opportunities for growth within the organization, including professional development, supervisory roles, and engagement in the community. Supervision on Therapeutic Assessment practices or other areas are available to those looking to enhance their skill sets. Early Career Psychologists encouraged to apply.
