Prisma Health System and Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital are pleased to announce two full-time position openings for Rehab Psychologists and/or Clinical Neuropsychologists, to join our team of 5 full-time neuropsychologists. The Inpatient psychology position provides assessment, intervention, education and behavioral management services to patients with spinal cord injury, amputation, and a wide variety of medical disorders. The role is primarily focused upon inpatient intervention but depending on applicant background, the opportunity exists for approximately 20-25% of the provider's time to be spent conducting comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological evaluations on adult patients with diverse disorders.
The Outpatient Psychology position is within our Outpatient Traumatic Brain Injury/Young (adult) Stroke program, a comprehensive community re-entry program. The primary role is focused on assessment and providing individual, family, and group psychological support to patients with neurological injury within the program. Opportunity for neuropsychological assessment and supervision exist based on applicant interest and training.
Successful applicants will have strong clinical experience with a wide variety of disorders and excel in a collaborative team environment. To be considered for the position applicants must have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with additional experience and specialization in either rehabilitation/clinical psychology or neuropsychology. Completion of a two year formal post-doctoral fellowship is strongly desired, but not required. Applicants must be eligible to obtain licensure as a Psychologist in South Carolina. Eligibility for board certification is desirable, but not required.
