Neuropsychologist
2 Positions
Lincoln, Nebraska and Omaha, Nebraska
Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals has two full-time Neuropsychologist positions open
(in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska). Each neuropsychologist would join a collegial and
experienced department of psychologists and counselors, including board-ce11ified
neuropsychologists. We typically have practicum students training in our facilities
through our relationships with the University ofNebraska and several other local
colleges. Frequent opportunities for departmental didactic training as well as
transdisciplinary interaction and training are available. Opportunities exist for the
supervision of trainees, as well as research involvement with our Institute for
Rehabilitation Science and Engineering.
The neuropsychologist will work on one or more of our CARP-accredited Inpatient
rehabilitation teams, as well as perform neuropsychological assessments and counseling
with Outpatients.
Clinical responsibilities of this position include cognitive and psychological assessment,
rehabilitation counseling, and consultation with our inpatient teams. Madonna's
inpatient acute rehabilitation programs include Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal
Cord Injury, and Pediatrics. Madonna's outpatient department offers the opportunity to
participate in several interdisciplinary evaluation clinics, including assessments of mild
TBI, stroke, and other neurological disorders. The neuropsychologist will also perform
detailed outpatient neuropsychological assessments, including forensic evaluations.
Experience in neuropsychology is required. Experience in medical, health, or
rehabilitation psychology is preferred.
A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program is required. Must possess current
NE licensure or eligible to obtain licensure within 14 months of hire.
Lincoln, Nebraska is a vibrant city of over 277,000 in the eastern part of the state, about
fifty miles from Omaha. Omaha has a population of 443,000 and is home to a newlybuilt,
state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital.
