Job Description The PEDAL clinic (Programs of Evaluation, Development and Learning) a service through St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon, offers clinical excellence to provide the best care for children and youth with special health needs in Central and Eastern Oregon. Our PEDAL providers specialize in diagnosis, assessment and intervention related to disorders affecting a child's development. The clinic works closely with other specialties within SCMG, hospital departments and community providers/programs.

Position Overview: PEDAL Clinic - The Psychologist will provide therapeutic and neuropsychology services to pediatric patients with special health care needs in an outpatient setting. The Psychologist will administer, interpret, and report on comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to pediatric patients with a variety of conditions such as traumatic brain injury, neurological disorders, ADHD, and learning disabilities. The position also offers opportunity to participate on a multidisciplinary team with a developmental pediatrician, speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist and other specialty professionals to provide team based assessments for children and youth with special health care needs such as autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopment disorders, complex behavioral issues, feeding disorders, birth prematurity and concussions. This is an outpatient position.

Work schedule: The psychologist will work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Work location: The psychologist primary work location will be the SCMG PEDAL clinic in Bend, Oregon. Other outreach locations may be added as patient and business needs dictate.

Required Qualifications:
" Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree, have completed clinical internship and postdoctoral training with emphasis in pediatric neuropsychology, and be eligible or hold an Oregon license through the Oregon Board of Psychology.
" License to practice psychology in the state of Oregon by the applicable Oregon Board of Psychology.
" Membership with applicable state/national organization preferred.
" Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements.
" Maintain unrestricted ability to participate in Medicare / Medicaid, or other federal or state governmental health care programs.
" Current BLS certification required.
" Pediatric experience either during the post-doctoral period or previous employment is required. Preference is given to candidates who have hospital based experiencing working with pediatric population. Additional experience and training may be required.
" Five years active practice in pediatric neuropsychology preferred.
