Position Clinical Neuropsychologist

Job Description West Virginia University, Charleston, Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is seeking a full-time clinical neuropsychologist to join a welcoming, vibrant academic health center faculty in the state capital. Faculty appointment will be at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position requirements by the time of appointment are:
-Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program
-Two-Year Post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology
-Immediate eligibility for licensure in West Virginia

The Successful candidate will be expected to provide outpatient neuropsychological assessments to a wide range of clinical populations with major and minor neurocognitive disorders related to a variety of presenting problems. Assessments related to learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, attention deficit /hyperactivity disorders and general psychological assessment may also be provided. This position also involved training of psychology interns in an APA accredited internship program, and teaching psychiatry residents and WVU medical students. Also available and encouraged is scholarly activity.
