Kirk Neurobehavioral Health is located in Louisville, Colorado, eight miles east of Boulder, and offers outpatient neuropsychological services to pediatric patients in the greater Denver/Boulder area. We currently have two pediatric neuropsychologists and one rehabilitation psychologist in our clinic and have an opening for a full-time pediatric neuropsychologist. This position is designed for an applicant early in their career. The position would entail conducting comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological evaluations in a private practice setting, with the opportunity to provide more focused concussion assessments for local area club, high school and college athletes. Although the primary focus of this position will be clinical, there are opportunities for participation in research and supervision of practicum students. Current research areas include the use of PVT/SVTs with pediatric populations and utility of neuropsychological testing in providing guidance in pediatric TBI. Candidates must be board-eligible for ABPP/CN, with the expectation that this certification will be initiated and completed within a reasonable time frame.
