Position Neuropsychology Faculty

Job Description The College of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University invites qualified applications for an open rank faculty position in clinical psychology. We are seeking an individual with teaching, clinical, and/or research expertise in neuropsychology.

The successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. Additionally, they must be actively involved in research and scholarship, with expectations to maintain an ongoing program of research, publish, and supervise student research. A track record of, or potential to secure external funding to support research is desirable. Individuals with demonstrated commitment to diversity through their teaching, scholarship, and/or service are encouraged to apply.

The faculty member is expected to teach core clinical psychology courses, such as assessment, as well as electives in neuropsychology. The Neuropsychology Assessment Center, housed within the College's Psychology Services Center, provides services to residents in South Florida, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. The faculty member will supervise doctoral psychology trainees on the neuropsychology assessment rotation. The faculty member is also expected to fulfill service responsibilities to the department, college, and university.

Required Qualifications
" Doctorate degree in psychology
" Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of Florida
" College and/or university level teaching experience
" A record of scholarly publications
" Clinical/scholarly expertise in neuropsychology

Desired Qualifications
" Experience in teaching graduate level courses
" Clinical supervision experience
" Potential to secure external funding to support a research program
