Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a neuropsychologist with specific interest and experience in neurodegenerative diseases including dementia, movement disorders, and multiple sclerosis. This individual will join the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada, a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic that includes neurologists, psychiatrists, and imaging specialists, as well as, physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The neuropsychology team currently is comprised of 2 clinicians (Justin B. Miller, PhD, ABPP/CN and Jessica Z.K. Caldwell, PhD), 2 postdoctoral fellows, 3 full-time neuropsychology technicians, 2 research assistants, and practicum students.

Primary duties will include neuropsychological assessment with technician support for purposes of differential diagnosis and treatment planning within a multidisciplinary setting. The neuropsychologist will also be involved in clinical trials, as well as, the education, training, and supervision of postdoctoral fellows and practicum students from the clinical psychology program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Opportunities for intervention services may be available for interested individuals.

Protected research time and an academic appointment will be available with abundant opportunities to contribute to existing research or develop a complementary research track. Current research opportunities include access to a large clinical data repository, as well as, data from the Center for Neurodegeneration and Translational Neuroscience (https://www.nevadacntn.org/). Imaging research, clinical trials, software development opportunities, and a large study of professional fighters (boxers and mixed martial arts fighters) may also be available.

Applicants should have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology, an internship with experience in neuropsychology, and postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for licensure in Nevada is essential, with the expectation of the successful candidate pursuing board certification. Early-career applicants are encouraged to apply.
