West Neuropsychology, LLC, a growing private practice in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a full time Clinical Neuropsychologist. The practice is located on the campus of Princeton Baptist Medical Center (PBMC) a 500+ bed hospital. PBMC is part of Brookwood Baptist Health a dynamic community of care including 5 hospitals and numerous primary care and specialty care clinics.

Description
Patients are referred for a wide range of diagnoses including memory disorders, traumatic brain injury, dementia, mood disorders, etc.
The position involves primarily neuropsychological assessment with opportunities for clinical intervention/psychotherapy

Duties
Provide outpatient neuropsychological assessment, psychological evaluations & clinical intervention services for adult & geriatric patients
Consultative services also provided to a diverse inpatient medical population
Prepare written reports and provide feedback to patients, family members and clinical staff
Attend staff/team meetings as needed

Qualifications
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology, counseling psychology or clinical neuropsychology from an APA-accredited or CPA-accredited psychology graduate program with at least 2 years of supervised experience in health services is required (i.e. internship/fellowship)
Completion of a formal postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology (training consistent with Houston Conference neuropsychology guidelines)
Board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology
Eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama
Experience working with patients with comorbid medical and mental health conditions
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
