Job Description: Columbus Memory Center (CMC) is seeking a Neuropsychologist to play an active role in its very busy research department and clinical practice. Responsibilities will include clinical and research evaluations, and oversight of clinical rating staff. CMC is an innovative leader in clinical Alzheimer's care and research. Inventor of the Memory Number, the world's first vital sign for the brain, as well as the originator of Columbus Memory Project, the world's first government--Alzheimer's Association--Private corporation partnership, to test every area senior on an annual basis for free, CMC is also frequently in the top three for clinical trial enrollment. This is an innovative practice, filled with energy and good-will. Team members know and take pride in the contribution they are making to change the landscape of Alzheimer's care.
Location: Columbus, Georgia is located ninety miles south of Atlanta. A population of approximately 250,000 supports a thriving arts community and large tourism industry. Downtown boasts the world's longest urban white water excursion that runs along a gorgeous ten mile Riverwalk, along with a world class concert center that is home to the Schwob School of Music/Conservatory. The Conservatory currently enrolls students from twenty-nine countries that are under the tutelage of many famed faculty musicians. A zip line allows visitors to visit Alabama and return to Georgia, as a bird in flight. Of the many beautiful parks and areas for recreation, the greater Columbus area is home to the world renown gardens and resort of Callaway, that sits within three miles of the Wild Animal Park.
