Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, and pediatric subspecialties medical center is looking for a highly motivated Neuropsychologist with a passion for helping the pediatric population.
SHCNC is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join the multidisciplinary team in our Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation program. This per diem position will take an active role in performing psychological assessments, proposing treatment plans and documenting results in the electronic medical record. Collaboration with the patient, family, medical staff and entire clinical team will be expected and essential in contributing to high quality care and exceptional patient outcomes. This position will also facilitate access to community resources for ongoing patient support as part of the discharge planning process.
Requires previous experience in pediatric neuropsychology within inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred. Must have basic computer literacy for documenting in an electronic medical record. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset are desired traits. Current California licensure and additional training in neuropsychology is required. 2-3 years of pediatric healthcare or hospital experience is preferred.
