The VA Providence Healthcare System (VAPHCS) and the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (DPHB) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Providence, RI, is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist/Psychologist Clinician Investigator at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level.
The incumbent will be based at VAPHCS, which is an integral member of the Brown Clinical Psychology Training Consortium and DPHB. Minimum required qualifications: license to practice psychology with a specialty in neuropsychology, completion of APA- or CPA-accredited internship, at least two years of post-doctoral experience as a psychologist in the VHA or comparable professional setting, board eligibility/certification in Clinical Neuropsychology, strong clinical background and excellence in patient care/teaching, and commitment to scholarly participation in DPHB's research programs. The incumbent will devote 60% time to clinical neuropsychological services, 25% to research responsibilities, 10% to educational/teaching responsibilities, and 5% to administrative responsibilities. Experience with veterans highly desirable. Preferred that candidate's research experience focus on clinical neuropsychology, clinical neuroscience, or a closely related field.
