Position: Clinical Neuropsychologist The Neuropsychology Department of Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is currently accepting applications for a full-time clinical neuropsychologist. The position would involve provision of neuropsychological services to both inpatient and outpatient adult neurological populations within a JCAHO/CARF accredited acute rehabilitation hospital serving upstate NY. Specialty programs within the hospital include Brain Injury and Stroke. Neuropsychologists work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team with emphasis on assessment, but with opportunities for clinical research and training.
The Neuropsychology Department currently employs 6 full time neuropsychologists, which offers excellent opportunities for peer interactions and consultations. Regularly scheduled case reviews and didactic inservices enhance professional development. Technician support is available. The Department has served as a practicum site for doctoral level graduate students for the past 25 years allowing opportunities for provision of training and supervision. Excellent administrative support is provided with regard to scheduling, billing, and transcription.
