Aurora is the largest health care system in Wisconsin and has recently merged with the Advocate health care system in northern Illinois. Our Neurosciences team is a group of world-renowned neurosurgeons, neurologists and other specialists who strive to provide the most advanced, collaborative and compassionate care possible. Neuropsychology is a valued component of this multidisciplinary team and plays an integral role in delivering comprehensive care to individuals with complex neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Our Neuropsychology team currently consists of 9 adult neuropsychologists, 3 pediatric neuropsychologists, and 14 psychometrists.
Pediatric Openings (4): We have open pediatric neuropsychologist positions at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee and at three Aurora Health Center locations: Hartland, Pleasant Prairie, and Greenfield. Primary responsibilities will include neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting, with the potential for inpatient consultations at one of our affiliated hospitals. Referrals come from Pediatrics, Neurology, Psychiatry, and throughout the Advocate Aurora system. Experience working with both medical/neurological and developmentally-based patient populations is strongly preferred.
Adult Opening (1): This position will be housed at the Aurora Health Center in Oshkosh. Primary responsibilities will include neuropsychological evaluations of adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting, with the potential for inpatient consultations at one of our affiliated hospitals. Referrals come primarily from Neurology, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, and primary care physicians throughout the Advocate Aurora system.
All positions are primarily clinical; however, opportunities for research and/or training of advanced graduate students may be available. Qualified candidates will have completed a formal (APPCN) 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, be licensed or license eligible in the state of Wisconsin, and be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
