The National Academy of Neuropsychology Foundation and the Women in Leadership Committee invite you to a special sunset cocktail cruise in the beautiful San Diego bay!

Leave the conference hotel behind and come aboard a private ship where you will be greeted with champagne.  Take in the views, enjoy food and music, and connect with colleagues old and new.  Learn about the exciting new directions for the Foundation and enjoy a special presentation by WIL featuring Ayana Ledford, the Director for Diversity and Inclusion at Carnegie Mellon. The Kaplan Award winners will be announced, and you can try your luck at the annual WIL raffle!

Ms. Ledford is the Director for Diversity and Inclusion at Carnegie Mellon University and the Executive Director of the Program for Research and Outreach on Gender Equity in Society (PROGRESS). PROGRESS was established in 2006 by Dr. Linda Babcock to improve society by empowering girls and women through the art of negotiation. Ms. Ledford also leads efforts to provide access and support academic persistence of marginalized students.

One of San Diego’s most exciting event yachts is the Emerald Hornblower, an 85-foot Skipperliner that accommodates up to 120 guests with two spacious decks to explore. Thanks to a custom-designed convertible sunroof, the top floor deck opens to fresh sea air or dancing under the stars at the touch of a button. Outer deck space and intimate glass enclosed Admiral's Cabin provide elegant spaces for guests to interact while enjoying San Diego views.
