C. Vaile Wright, Ph.D., is the Senior Director of Health Care Innovation at the American Psychological Association. She is a licensed psychologist, and researcher focusing on developing strategies to leverage technology and data to address issues within health care including increasing and expanding access, measuring care and optimizing treatment delivery at both the individual and system levels. She serves on several measure development technical expert panels for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and initiated the development of APA’s Mental and Behavioral Health Registry. As a spokesperson for APA, she has been interviewed by television, radio, print and online media including CNN, NBC News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR on a range of topics including stress, politics, discrimination and harassment, COVID, serious mental illness, telehealth and technology, and access to mental health care.
Nick Bott, Psy.D., is a clinical neuropsychologist by training with expertise in multi-modal digital phenotyping and high-value healthcare systems delivery design. He currently serves as Takeda's global head of bioethics & technology ethics, where he leads the company's enterprise-wide program in ethics of emerging technologies. Previously, he served as Associate Fellowship Director of Stanford's Clinical Excellence Research Center (CERC) design fellowship for high value health care. Nick has also served as the Chief Science and Privacy Officer at Neurotrack Technologies, where he pioneered digital clinical care of individuals at-risk for and living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Nick currently serves on the National Academy of Neuropsychology Professional Affairs and Information Committee and is a member of the APA Measurement-based Care and Mental and Behavioral Health Registry Committee.
