Hospital for Special Care / Neuropsychologist for Outpatient Physicians Clinic / New Britain, CT
We are seeking a licensed Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary care team. This role is primarily based in the Outpatient Physician’s Clinic, where the Neuropsychologist conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients with a wide range of conditions involving central nervous system dysfunction.
Referral populations include individuals with dementia, Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson Plus Syndromes, mild cognitive impairment, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other neuropsychiatric conditions, as well as candidates undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS) evaluations.
The Neuropsychologist will also provide inpatient consultation services as needed and participate in on-call coverage related to suicide risk assessment and management, collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
