Adult and Pediatric Neuropsychologist positions in Jacksonville, FL
Baptist and Wolfson Children’s Behavioral Health has two outpatient Clinical Neuropsychology positions available. One position is for Adult Neuropsychology and the other for Pediatric Neuropsychology. These positions are in our multidisciplinary behavioral health department, which includes Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychiatry, Mental Health Counseling, and Applied Behavior Analysis. It is a busy, outpatient practice that serves a diverse patient population across the lifespan. Full psychometrist support is provided. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with referral sources and have the opportunity to participate in our post-doctoral fellowships to provide didactics and/or supervise post-doctoral fellows.
The referral base for Adult Neuropsychology includes the departments of Neurology, Neuro-oncology, Neurosurgery, and Primary Care, internal referrals from our multidisciplinary practice, and community referrals. Baptist Health was founded in 1955, it is the only locally governed health system in the Jacksonville area. The health system includes five nationally accredited hospitals: Baptist Jacksonville, Baptist Beaches, Baptist Nassau, Baptist South and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is a regional destination for world-renowned cancer care which is clinically integrated with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
The referral base for Pediatric Neuropsychology is Primary Care, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, internal referrals from our multidisciplinary practice, and community referrals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in evaluating pediatric patients with a range of neurodevelopmental and medical conditions and will have additional training and experience with neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessment instruments including the ADOS-2 and related measures.
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is one of the top children’s hospitals in the country and is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
Job Requirements:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology
- APA accredited Pre-doctoral Internship
- Completion of a 2-year Post-doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology
- Be licensed or license eligible in Florida
