Beacon Light Psychological Services (BLPS) is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist to join our growing group practice in downtown Portland, Maine.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- An APA-accredited predoctoral internship.
- A 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology or assessment with a pediatric focus.
- Licensed as a psychologist in the state of Maine.
- Extensive experience assessing neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD, and learning disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification (or eligibility) through ABPP or ABPdN.
- Interest in program development and training interns/fellows.
- Experience working in a private or group practice setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial phone consultations with prospective clients to assess fit for evaluation services.
- Conduct comprehensive and targeted neuropsychological, psychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 4 to 25).
- Write integrated reports with a focus on clear and actionable recommendations.
- Supervise an advanced practicum student who assists with test administration, scoring, and report writing.
- Collaborate with teachers and outside providers as clinically indicated.
- Participate in program development, marketing, and community outreach opportunities.
- As the practice continues to grow, there are opportunities to expand into potential leadership roles.
- Optional: The ability to maintain a small psychotherapy caseload.

Schedule
- At least two dedicated evaluation days per week to support consistency and workflow (specific days based on clinic needs).
- Scheduling intakes and feedbacks is generally flexible.
Start Date
Flexible September 2026 start date for full-time, with the potential option to begin part-time earlier.
