Aviation Neuropsychologist

Location: Anywhere in the US
Date Posted: 07/09/2026

Job Description

Title: Aviation Neuropsychologist

Contact: [email protected], [email protected]

Description:

We are a well-established and growing aviation-focused practice seeking like-minded professionals who are interested in joining our team. We are adding additional locations/providers to conduct FAA neuropsychological evaluations for pilots and air traffic controllers. We currently have six psychologists (three of whom are full-time neuropsychologists), two psychometrists, and two full-time administrative staff across the country.

You must be board certified or board eligible based on ABN or ABPP board certification criteria.

We have developed specialized products and administrative procedures which help streamline the complexity of FAA medical certification processes. All providers would have access to these products and procedures including access to administrative staff who manage scheduling, records, payments, client needs, and forms (e.g., intake forms, consent forms).

Our practice includes weekly collegial, interactive case conferences along with as-needed case consultation. Supervision and training regarding the nuances of aviation neuropsychology and FAA procedures are provided as needed and tailored to individual needs. Initial training requirements, which include FAA-related conference attendance, will be paid by Aerospace Neuropsychology. Initially the positions are part-time with the possibility of increasing to full-time work depending on your preferred schedule and amount of referrals generated. There is no need to relocate but travel opportunities are available. The fee schedule is competitive and based on the type and complexity of the case.

Why Work with Aerospace Neuropsychology Services?

The aviation context involves an exciting, safety-sensitive environment, with federal regulatory considerations, and the need for specialized training. It is an evolving niche in which providers help ensure the safety of the national airspace. Aerospace Neuropsychology Services is dedicated to help improve aviation safety and to help move the field of aviation neuropsychology forward. We acknowledge that some providers may not be familiar with aviation neuropsychology and some who are familiar may not have the support necessary to adequately facilitate their professional growth—as a part of our team, we want to help you produce high-quality work as an aviation neuropsychologist while removing the burden of administrative processes. We focus on providing excellent customer service and our collaborative environment is integral to our team approach.
