The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor, beginning January or August 2027.
We seek a clinician-educator with expertise in psychological assessment and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and graduate training within a clinical science framework. The successful candidate will contribute to our Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program through teaching, clinical supervision, assessment training, and program service.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising graduate students in psychological assessment and integrated report writing, contributing to clinical training in evidence-based interventions, and participating in program development and service activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from an APA- or PCSAS-accredited program
- APA-accredited internship
- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Texas by the start date
- Expertise in psychological assessment and graduate clinical training
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and/or clinical supervision
