Position Overview
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow / Psychological Associate specializing in neuropsychology to join our growing clinical team in Los Angeles. The primary focus of this position is the administration, scoring, and clinical interpretation of flexible and standardized neuropsychological testing batteries, as well as psychodiagnostic assessments.
This position is ideal for an advanced trainee or post-doctoral clinician seeking high-volume clinical assessment hours, exposure to cutting-edge neurocognitive protocols, and formal supervision toward licensure and board certification (ABPP-CN).
Key Responsibilities
• Psychometric Testing & Scoring: Administer and score standardized neuropsychological and psychometric test batteries (e.g., WAIS/WISC, WMS, D-KEFS, CVLT, personality/psychodiagnostic measures, and digital cognitive assessment tools).
• Clinical Interviews & Behavioral Observations: Assist in conducting initial clinical intakes, review medical/academic records, and document behavioral observations during testing sessions.
• Report Drafts & Data Synthesis: Synthesize quantitative data into integrated, comprehensive draft reports highlighting cognitive strengths, diagnostic conclusions, and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in case conceptualizations and collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team (psychiatrists, neurologists, allied health professionals) to guide patient care plans.
• Supervision: Participate in mandatory weekly individual supervision with a Licensed Psychologist (Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology) to review testing data, case formulation, and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program.
• Pre-Doctoral Internship: Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with specialized coursework and clinical practicum tracks in neuropsychological assessment.
• CA Board of Psychology Eligibility: Eligible to register as a Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology prior to start date.
• Clinical Competency: Proven proficiency in standardized test administration, psychometric scoring, and medical/neurological chart reviews.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, detail-oriented data organization, and efficient report drafting turnaround.
