Primary Purpose:
Integrates teaching, research, and clinical services to provide quality education for students.
Essential Job Functions:
1.Teaches core clinical psychology courses in the areas of objective and projective personality assessment. The teaching load is contingent on research productivity.
2. Maintains an active research program, including developing peer-reviewed publications in assessment and related areas.
3. Mentors doctoral students in research.
4. Creates a climate conducive to learning.
5. Participates in department wide activities such as faculty meetings, clinical competency examinations, chairing dissertations/directed studies, etc. as assigned.
6. Contributes to appropriate NSU and College committees, and professional
associations.
7. Maintains a professional development plan to assure growth and currency within the academic field.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Department Chair and/or Dean.

The Department of Clinical and School Psychology is seeking applications for a full-time, twelve-month, open-rank faculty position in psychological assessment with a focus on personality assessment. The faculty member is responsible for teaching, providing clinical supervision, and mentoring student research in the area of psychological assessment with an emphasis on personality assessment. Evidence or potential of scholarly productivity is required. Potential to secure external funding to support research is desirable. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Job Requirements:
Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed or license eligible in the State of Florida.
Required Education: Doctoral Degree
Major (if required): Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology or related field
Required Experience:
- Ability to teach assessment courses, especially in the areas of objective personality assessment and projective personality assessment.
- Ability to teach courses in cognitive assessment is a plus but not required.
- Record of external funding to support a research program (or evidence of potential to secure external funding).
- A record of scholarly publications with a focus on assessment.
- College and/or university level teaching experience or related training experience in clinical assessment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience training assessment especially in the area of personality assessment.
