Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, collaborate with medical and therapy teams, and provide recommendations that guide diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients across the lifespan with conditions including brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, score, and interpret neuropsychological tests assessing memory, attention, executive function, language, and other cognitive domains.
  • Conduct clinical interviews and review medical, educational, and psychosocial histories.
  • Provide clear, actionable reports for patients, families, and referring providers.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and educators to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities.
  • Offer psychoeducation and counseling regarding cognitive strengths, weaknesses, and compensatory strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with specialty training in Neuropsychology.
  • Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship.
  • Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology preferred.
  • Licensure or license-eligibility as a psychologist in Illinois.
  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of assessment tools and patient populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in rehabilitation, hospital, or academic medical settings
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
