Join a Thriving, Established Private Practice!

Seeking a clinical neuropsychologist to join our busy, well-established, neuropsychology practice with an excellent reputation in Decatur, GA (intown Atlanta area).  The practice provides neuropsychological services primarily for geriatric patients with Medicare for dementia evaluations. 

Immediate Caseload: Join a practice with a 3-month waitlist for clinical referrals.

Flexibility & Autonomy: Highly flexible position available full-time or part-time.

Expansion Potential: Highly encouraged to build a sub-specialty practice in areas currently declined, such as Adult ADHD or TBI.

Income and work schedule are determined by how busy the incoming neuropsychologist chooses to be.  The income range is estimated initially to be between $85,000 and $100,000 annually if working full-time, with opportunity to increase as practice grows. 

The successful applicant will benefit from:

Established Referrals: Strong, consistent referral network from local medical practices and mental health providers spanning the metro Atlanta area.

Therapy Services: Support from other psychologists in the practice to provide therapy services following patient evaluations.

Billing: Access to billing software and support for credentialing, billing, and other administrative services.

Office Space, Dedicated, full-time office space that provides free parking for clients and psychologists in an urban area.  The office is also accessible via public transportation. 

Testing Materials: Access to necessary testing materials and equipment, including a dedicated testing room.

Career Development: Opportunities abound for collaboration with geriatric psychiatry programs at an academic medical center or mentoring graduate students in university setting, if desired.  Consultation with long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities is possible, if desired. 

The neuropsychology practice is located in the quaint city of Decatur, GA.  Decatur benefits from a small city feel in the greater Metro Atlanta area.  Decatur is walkable and has its own amenities, including its own city services and excellent school system.  The city is a wonderful place to live a good quality of life and to raise a family.   There is also easy access to services found in the urban Atlanta area, including pro and college sports teams, concerts, museums, theater, dining, and a world class airport.  

Requirements:

Completion of a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program (specialization in neuropsychology preferred)

APA-accredited one-year predoctoral internships – preferably 50% neuropsychology

Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology

Licensed or license eligible in Georgia
