Neuropsychologist

Location: Western Massachusetts
Date Posted: 12/16/2025

Job Description

Are you finishing your post-doc and looking to start your career as a neuropsychologist?

Or, are you mid-career looking for change?

Are you a retired neuropsychologist, but would love to see a patient or two a week?

Consider joining us at Berkshire Memory Services in beautiful Western Massachusetts.

Berkshire Memory Services is a neuropsychology owned, managed and run practice that focuses on diagnosing the early stages of memory disorders in older adults.  We see people that have normal age-related memory loss, people entering into early Mild Cognitive Impairment and those transitioning from MCI to dementia.  We diagnose early and moderate dementia and help patients and families to understand the disease.  We see pre-and post surgical patients, and patients who have had anoxic complications. We see patients with concussions, strokes, epilepsy and learning disabilities.  We do not, however, see kids and we try to limit the amount of young adults we see as there is such a tremendous need to provide services to seniors.  Our practice is committed to providing high quality evaluations in an atmosphere that is friendly and treats patients and family members with respect.  We are well-known in the community; primary care physicians, neurologists and other practitioners depend on our evaluations and expertise.  This is not a high-end fancy private practice clinic; if that’s what you are looking for, we understand, but perhaps don’t apply.  Patients at Berkshire Memory Services do not pay out-of-pocket fees as we take all insurances.  Berkshire Memory Services first opened more than 20 years ago, we have been gradually expanding, and now we need more doctors.  We invite neuropsychologists (who are interested in both full or part-time work) in any stage of their career to apply; the only requirement is previous experience with, respect for, and a strong commitment to working with older adults (and ideally licensed in the state of Massachusetts, but willing to consider licensed eligible if it’s a good match).  We invite applicants to check out an environment created by neuropsychologists that understand what works and what does not work for our types of evaluations.  We have lots of support staff including experienced neuropsychology technicians to administer standardized tests.  We have a competitive compensation scale that increases based on productivity.  Alternative compensation such as per diem can be considered depending on the circumstances.  Full benefits including dental, medical and retirement available for full-time employees.

Come to Berkshire Memory Services where we actually like to go to work.
