Job Title: Pediatric Neuropsychological Associate

Employment Status: Full-Time Options/Salary Exempt

 

Pay: $60,000-$70,000/year

 

Start Date: Monday, August 5th, 2026 (+/- 2 weeks).

- The pediatric neuropsychological associate position is a yearlong contract with the possibility of extension or hire depending on licensure status.

 

Job Overview: The Pediatric Neuropsychological Associate at Leiya will be supervised by our lead neuropsychologist psychologists to assist with evaluation planning, report writing and feedback for patients and their families. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented clinician who is interested in seeing advanced training in pediatric neuropsychological assessment . This position is ideal for a post-doctoral fellow who is interested in working in a supportive, collaborative environment. The trainee will work under a licensed neuropsychologist and clinical psychologists and will participate as a full member of our multidisciplinary team.

This position is full time (40 hours a week) but could potentially be reduced.

Core Responsibilities and Duties:

- Complete 2–6 comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological evaluations per month, including: Clinical interviewing, collateral contact, test selection and administration, scoring and interpretation, report writing, feedback sessions with families and collaboration with providers.

- Participates in weekly staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs.

- Attend and participate in: weekly individual supervision, weekly neuropsychology team meetings, clinic-wide staff meetings, trainings, and case conferences.

- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, medical providers, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.

- Maintain timely, organized documentation consistent with clinic standards and ethical guidelines.

- Model professionalism, empathy, and cultural humility in all patient and team interactions.

 

Training & Support:

- Weekly one-on-one supervision with a licensed pediatric neuropsychologist.

- Ongoing training in evaluation of neurodevelopmental, medical, and psychological conditions.

- Access to a rich testing library and exposure to complex multi-system cases.

- Opportunity to use technology and advanced analytics (including artificial intelligence) to gather information and streamline the assessment process

- Opportunities for didactics, professional development, and observation of interdisciplinary care.

Qualifications

- Completed a doctoral program (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with specialty training in clinical neuropsychology

- Completion of Division 40 coursework in neuropsychology (e.g., cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, neuroanatomy, advanced statistics). cognitive assessment, psychopathology, and child development

- Prior experience in pediatric neuropsychological assessment

- Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting

- Commitment to culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming practice

- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

- Bilingual skills are a plus.

- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

- Ability to manage priorities and work flow.

- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
