Job Description

The Neuropsychology Institute (TNI) is seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist specializing in adult-geriatric assessment. Referrals predominately come from neurologists and primary care physicians, with a broad range of presenting problems (e.g., neurological, psychiatric, and chronic health issues).  Specialized services include evaluations for FAA/pilot candidates, presurgical deep brain stimulator (DBS), bariatric, and spinal cord stimulator (SCS) evaluations, and forensic evaluations.

 

With over 50 years of combined experience serving the greater Tucson area, TNI’s mission is to provide the highest quality care to our patients, to actively contribute to the advancement of the field of neuropsychology, and to improve the lives of those in our community. TNI is also dedicated to providing opportunities for student training and community outreach.

 

Position Summary: The Neuropsychologist shall provide comprehensive neuropsychology and neurobehavioral diagnostic evaluations for the adult and senior population. The Neuropsychologist shall also provide differential diagnosis, validate existing diagnosis/medication orders, capacity and behavioral function outline.

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Monday-Friday

Job Duties

•     Provide Neuropsychology Evaluations to adults and seniors
•     Administrative duties such as weekly documentation to complete reports, submit weekly billing claims sheet, communicate with supervisor and colleagues as needed

Requirements

•     
PhD  or  PsyD  Degree from an APA-accredited program  (required)
•     Completion  of a  one-year  APA  accredited  internship  (required)
•    Completion  of  a  two-yea r post-doctoral  fellowship  in  neuropsychology  (preferred)
•      3+ years of  experience  in  Neuropsychology  (preferred)
•     Must provide  2 de-identified  report  samples  for  review prior to secondary interview
•     Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible within the next 6 months in Arizona

Pay
 

•    Estimated range based on full-time employment: 90K-140K
•    Based on experience and productivity
