Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital is currently hiring for three full-time positions available in the Neuropsychology Departments of our Lincoln and Omaha campuses.

1. Outpatient Neuropsychologist in Omaha to perform neuropsychological assessment and consultation. The psychologist will perform detailed testing using standardized neuropsychological assessment procedures. Madonna works with a broad range of diagnostic groups, including persons with traumatic brain injury, mild TBI, stroke, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Madonna provides several outpatient multidisciplinary clinics which provide opportunities for briefer assessments and teamwork.
2. Inpatient/Outpatient Psychologist in Lincoln to work with our inpatient rehabilitation teams and perform some limited cognitive assessments. Madonna provides inpatient and outpatient services to persons who have experienced traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and many other conditions. The psychologist will work within our continuum of care, providing brief cognitive assessments, psychoeducation, rehabilitation counseling, and behavioral consultation.
3. Health Psychologist in Omaha. The Psychologist would be implementing assessment and intervention in Health Psychology. A primary current focus of the position would be on evaluating and treating persons who are struggling with persisting symptoms following a COVID infection. Madonna is developing a Model System of Care in collaboration with other facilities across the nation, to focus on this area. However, the position will ultimately include work with other patient populations, focusing on health and wellness among the persons we serve, primarily persons with disabilities, injuries, or chronic medical concerns.
4. We are also offering a two-year Neuropsychology post-doctoral training program, under the supervision of a board-certified neuropsychologist. Our post-doctoral program offers a rich diversity of training experiences in a supportive environment, with competitive pay.

Requirements are flexible. Must possess current NE licensure or eligible to obtain licensure within 14 months of hire. Training and experience in the above areas are helpful qualifications, but we will consider well-trained generalists with good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn.

Madonna is a mission-focused organization with a strong culture of teamwork and mutual respect. We have experienced and close-knit treatment teams that welcome the input and leadership of our psychologists. We choose to focus on meaningful contributions to recovery rather than rigid productivity targets. The Psychology department offers flexibility of schedules to balance work with family and life responsibilities. Members of our department are given considerable autonomy and numerous opportunities for growth and development.

The psychologist would join a collegial and experienced department of psychologists and counselors, including board-certified neuropsychologists. Opportunities often exist for the supervision of trainees, as well as research involvement with our Institute for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering.
