Las Vegas Neurology Center: Neuropsychologist Position
This well-established neurology practice is recruiting for a Neuropsychologist (PhD/PsyD). The neurology practice includes neuropsychological assessment as a part of comprehensive testing resulting in a majority of internal referrals. There are opportunities to further specialize assessment practice and population. LVNC provides billing and scheduling support.
Primary responsibilities will include neuropsychological assessment, for adults and older adults including clinical interview, report writing, and providing feedback to patients, families, and referring providers. LVNC serves as a training site for several local institutions, including as a Neurology Residency site through the Valley Hospital Medical Center and as an advanced training site for graduate students from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. LVNC also serves as a research site for clinical trials conducted through the Clinical Research Center of Nevada and there is also opportunity for neuropsychology involvement.
Requirements:
- Completion a doctoral degree from an APA or CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology (specialization in neuropsychology preferred not not required)
- APA-accredited one-year predoctoral internship
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology.
- Eligibility for licensure in Nevada
Preparatory work for board certification in clinical neuropsychology will be supported. Early-career professionals, graduating fellows, and individuals able to provide clinical services in Spanish are all especially encouraged to apply.
