Saginaw Valley State University invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin July 1st, 2024. Applicants must have acquired their Ph.D. by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and expertise in clinical neuropsychology. Candidates are expected to have an active research agenda to which undergraduates may contribute, as well as applied clinical experience with licensed/licensed-eligible status. Teaching responsibilities are in-person, on-campus (24 credit hours/year), primarily in neuropsychology. Other courses may include Physiological Psychology, Physiological Psychology Lab, General/Introductory Psychology, Child/Adolescent Psychology or other courses within the successful candidate's specific area of expertise. Other responsibilities include supervising undergraduate research, academic service, and student advising. The position allows for some applied clinical work off-campus (e.g., part-time private practice conducting assessments).
