Our facility is home to board-certified pediatric neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuro-oncologists, neuropsychologists and advanced practice providers. The group is looking for a board certified/board eligible pediatric neuropsychologist to join the group of 3 Pediatric Neuropsychologists and one neuropsychology technician. This is mostly an outpatient weekday position. Faculty appointments and teaching opportunities with the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Based in Madera, CA, Valley Children's is seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join this exceptional team of professionals. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program, must have completed an APA/CPA-approved internship, and must have the equivalent of two years postdoctoral experience in neuropsychology, with specialized training in pediatric populations. Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible as Health Service Psychologists in the state of California.

Clinical responsibilities include primarily outpatient neuropsychological evaluations of infants, children, adolescents to young adults with known or suspected cognitive or neurological dysfunction, who have a variety of medical conditions affecting the brain functioning and neurodevelopment, with a potential for cross-coverage with our inpatient specialists on the various hospital units. Familiarity with the following populations is preferred: Traumatic Brain Injury, Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, Oncology, Cardiology, history of ICU hospitalization and respiratory compromise, infections of the brain, vascular disorders, and other medical conditions that may affect brain functioning. This clinical position will also be responsible for assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions including, but not restricted to ADHD, Learning Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, genetic conditions, etc., as part of our neurodevelopmental program.
