Job Description LifeBridge Health Medical Group
Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist
Baltimore, Maryland

LifeBridge Health Medical Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist to join the Division of Adult & Pediatric Medical Psychology alongside our outstanding team at the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain & Spine Institute at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland which encompasses neurology, neurosurgery, and physical medicine & rehabilitation.

Position Description
Under limited supervision, Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist participates in the administration and delivery of various outpatient services including full and half-day neuropsychological evaluations of patients with a range of neurologic conditions including mild to severe brain injury, stroke, and neurodegenerative diseases. The provider will review medical records, educational history, and psychological information to integrate with assessment results to produce a written report. The psychologist will provide direct patient care through administration, scoring, and interpretation of neuropsychological measures, though psychometry support is routinely available. The Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist will conduct feedback visits with patients and their family members to provide recommendations and offer additional clinical services, as indicated. The Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist will communicate with the referring physicians and other members of the treatment team on behalf of their patients.

In addition to neuropsychological evaluations, the Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist will have an opportunity to structure their practice to incorporate their clinical interests and professional goals. Other services offered in the clinic include mild brain injury consultations, health and behavior interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-i), spinal cord stimulator evaluations, caregiver support services, several group therapy interventions including psychoeducation groups, weekly didactics, and opportunities to participate in the supervision of pre-doctoral trainees. Program development is welcomed and encouraged. Additionally, the provider will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration through clinical care meetings; outpatient cotreatment opportunities are also available.

The Division of Adult & Pediatric Medical Psychology is a robust and growing clinic consisting of three Clinical Neuropsychologists (two adult, one pediatric), three Health Psychologists, two Rehabilitation Neuropsychologists, and three psychometrists, who all enjoy a healthy work-life balance. The Medical Psychology clinic is embedded in the Department of Neurology, from where many referrals are received. The in-clinic administrative team handles all scheduling and insurance logistics, and social workers are available to provide some case management needs. Referrals additionally come from the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation where there are plentiful opportunities to collaborate with providers in the Sinai Rehabilitation Center (i.e., physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case management).

Sinai Rehabilitation Center (SRC) boasts a CARF accredited acute inpatient rehabilitation unit, a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program, and a community re-entry day program.
