Job Description Pediatric Neuropsychologist (Faculty Position)

Wake Forest School of Medicine/Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (WFBMC) Department of Neurology is recruiting for a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. This position, based in Winston-Salem, NC, is open-rank, and is primarily clinical, although it will also involve in-vivo teaching, supervision of lifespan and pediatric post-doctoral fellows in neuropsychology and graduate students. Opportunities for research are also available.

The ideal candidate will have general pediatric clinical interests and specialized experience in the areas of developmental disabilities (e.g., autism, developmental delay), headache/migraine, pediatric stroke, genetic disorders, in-utero substance exposure, tics/Tourette's syndrome, and psychiatric illness. Roles also include follow-up consultations to aid with diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and response to treatments in children from the age of 4, although the opportunity to evaluate children younger than age 4 is available to the qualified applicant. Rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- PhD/PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology
- Completion of pre-doctoral internship and two-year, postdoctoral fellowship training in neuropsychology
- ABPP-CN certified/eligible
- Successful record of clinical excellence; leadership experience/aspirations; interest/experience in student/fellow training; and research experience/interest.
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
