Position title: Director of Psychology Services with Gaylord Hospital
Gaylord Health Services in Wallingford, Connecticut seeks a forward-thinking Director of Psychology Services. Gaylord is devoted to medical rehabilitation, and we treat a variety of neurological issues including dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, MS, movement disorders, COVID, and concussion. Our Director of Psychology Services plays a key role in in achieving the high-quality care we provide.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and supervising the clinical Psychology staff of Neuropsychologists and Social Workers
- Conducting outpatient and inpatient neuropsychological consultations and testing for a range of neuropsychiatric disorders, from acute concussion to post-concussive syndrome to the spectrum of neurodegenerative diseases
- Providing supervision to a newly developed psychometrist position
- Ensuring a high level of professional evaluation and treatment is maintained
- Working with the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Senior Director of Outpatient Clinical Services and the Supervisor of Psychology to develop and maintain an efficient and fiscally sound program of care
Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology
- Completion of a 2-year fellowship in Neuropsychology
-Board-certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through either the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) or the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABN)
- 5 years of clinical experience required
- Supervisory or management experience preferred, not required

- Salary commensurate with experience
