Key Details:

Salary:
- $130k+ for Associate level Ph.D. and Psy.D. (commensurate with experience)
- $110k+ starting for new graduates (based on experience)
- Earn $3,000 on average annually for academic endeavors
- Clinical incentive package based on RVUs and individual efforts

About the Role: Neuropsychologists will have opportunities to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the acute rehabilitation of stroke and TBI services for hospitalized patients. Outpatient roles will include neuropsychological testing and therapy service provision.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for adults with neurologic deficits, including stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), polytrauma, and amputation.
- Implement behavioral interventions, conduct brief bedside assessments, and support adjustment to injury, sleep, and pain management.
- Supervise psychology trainees and provide educational guidance to medical residents, nurturing their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with diverse healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
- Engage in research endeavors, overseeing SCI and TBI Model Systems programs, and participating in independent and collaborative research projects.

Required Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Passed the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards exam (EPPP)
- Postdoctoral candidates who have taken and passed the EPPP exam are eligible to apply
- Eligibility for licensure in Alabama (AL)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology or a related field
